An-Airidh Bed and Breakfast is a family run Bed and Breakfast on the shore of Loch Portree in an area known as Fisherfield in the capital of Skye, Portree. The Macleod family have lived on this croft since the 1790s and our bed and breakfast has been offering highland hospitality for over 50 years.

Building on our tradition of hospitality, we’ve made thoughtful enhancements based on guest feedback. Each of our self-contained rooms features an independent front door for added privacy, along with a microwave oven, mini-fridge, and bistro-style table and chairs—perfect for enjoying our freshly prepared breakfast delivered straight to your room.

An-Airidh offers stunning views overlooking Loch Portree and our large gardens go all the way down to the seashore.  We have fabulous sunrises all throughout the year. The loch in front of An-Airidh is home to seals, and if you’re very lucky you might spot otters playing in our garden. Cast your eye over the loch to the hill beyond called Ben Tianavaig when you open your bedroom curtains in the morning and you might be lucky enough to spot the neighbouring sea-eagles.

From the moment you arrive – Alex, Alan, & Oatie (our very friendly Golden Retriever) will give you a warm Highland welcome, and we aim to put you completely at ease and make your stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
