If you intend to travel on the Mallaig-Armadale ferry – please review the CalMac website to ensure they are operating and have availability prior to making this decision. Should they be running as normal please ensure you book tickets in advance and check the status of the sailings prior to leaving Fort William.
Terms & Conditions
- Guests must provide us with telephone number. This will be used to contact you on the morning of arrival to conduct a check in call.
- We strongly recommend that you should cover yourself with travel indemnity.
Check-in / Check-out
- Standard check-in: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Early or late check-in may incur a fee
- Check-out: by 10 a.m.
Breakfast
- Delivered to your room between 7:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
- Submit your order by 8:00 p.m. the evening before
Payment & Cancellation
- Full, non-refundable payment due 7 days before check-in
- No changes or cancellations after payment deadline
- Travel insurance recommended
General
- 3-night minimum stay
- No smoking inside; designated area next to car park
- Not suitable for children under 16

Short term lets licensing scheme & Visitor Levy
- Our Full Short Term Let Licence was granted on the 15th August 2023 and expires on the 16th August 2026. Our Licence Number is : HI-30247-F
- The Scottish Government has introduced legislation for a Visitor Levy, which may apply to overnight stays in the future. While the levy is not yet in effect, we will keep our guests informed about any updates ahead of its planned introduction in 2026.

An-Airidh’s expectations of you (and your group)
You must not:
- Smoke anywhere inside the premises. This includes the smoking of e-cigarettes. Permitted smoking areas will be identified on site. Smoking on the premises outside of the designated smoking area will result in a £100 fine.
- Bring any pets onto the premises, with the exception of assistance dogs, pets are not allowed to be left in cars overnight unless otherwise agreed in advance of reservation.
- Bring any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials or equipment onto the premises.
- Use any electrical appliances that may set off the fire alarm system, such as toasters, mini cookers or portable grills, within guest rooms.
- Tamper with any fire alarms or emergency equipment.
- Prevent members of the household from accessing your room(s) as and when required.
- Remove, damage or destroy any property.
- Fly unmanned aerial vehicles AKA “drones” near our home or in our grounds, staying with us does not grant permission.
If you or your group cause damage or loss of any kind to the Bed & Breakfast, other guests, or their property, you (as the person making the booking) will be responsible for that damage or loss and you shall be liable to pay to J&C MacLeod, on demand, the amount required to make good or remedy such damage or loss.
Noise Policy
Our “Noise” policy requires that all guests respect the comfort of others by keeping TV volume to a minimum and talking levels reasonable for the time of day/night. If the noise in your room or in the common areas causes discomfort to other guest, then you will be asked to reduce the noise level. If you do not cooperate, then you will be asked to leave and no refund will be issued.

At An-Airidh, we are committed to providing our guests with a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable stay. Based on valuable guest feedback, we have made several enhancements to our offerings and practices:
- Our pre-check-in calls allow us to welcome you to our home and assist with planning your journey to Skye.
- We have increased the time allocated for housekeeping to thoroughly prepare your room for arrival.
Guest Rooms
- We use industry-approved cleaning products and protocols that are effective against viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens.
- Tea & coffee facilities are provided in each room, with the kettle being cleaned and sanitized after every stay.
- High-touch items, including TV remotes, toilets, door and furniture handles, taps, shower controls, nightstands, telephones, in-room controls, light switches, fridge & microwave doors, tables, luggage racks, and floors, receive special attention during cleaning.
- Pillow, mattress, and quilt protectors are changed after each stay.
- Bedroom windows are opened as fully as possible to allow for maximum ventilation between stays.
- We have reduced in-room collateral, with more information available on our website for your convenience.
- Housekeeping services during your stay are available upon request. Our family will not enter your room while you are present.
Laundry
- All bed linen and towels are washed at a high temperature in accordance with industry guidelines.
Property-Wide Cleanliness
- We have increased the frequency and intensity of cleaning and disinfection throughout the property, with a focus on entrances, offices, and kitchen areas.
Hand Sanitizer
- Hand sanitizer is available for your use throughout the property.
